5 Step Sales Process

Sale Process for Crystal Creek Kennels

Step 1:

1.Crystal Creek Kennels (CCK) will identify each customer requirements for a puppy which will include. i.e., gender preference, age & colour (cream or red coat).

2. CCK will advise customer once the litter has arrived or is scheduled too, if the interest is for a future proposed litter aligning with your appropriate timeline.

3.Once litters have arrived, CCK will advise individuals on the options available for the respective general ‘waiting list’ or ‘priority waiting list’.

2 Options available:

(a) General waiting list is for individuals that may be awaiting a future proposed litter to align with their personal circumstances and lifestyle.

(b) Priority waiting list is for individuals who are ready to commit to purchasing a puppy now from an existing litter or a proposed future litter arriving in the near to immediate future that have paid their holding deposit.

Step 2:

1.CCK will advise the customer of the available puppies in the current litter and identify each customers preferences.

2.Customers are then required to decide on whether they are ready to commit to the sale by choosing from one of the 2 waiting list options we have available.

3.Once customers has decided and committed to the sale CCK will then release the following documents and information:

(a)Holding Deposit invoice for 15% of the purchase price of the puppy.

(b)Information Package – which details the care, management & health requirements of your puppy.

(c)Be supplied with a copy of the Code of Practice for the Private Keeping of Dogs - which advises you of your legal requirements and obligations of owning a companion animal in Victoria.

(d)Be provided with a copy of our 3-year Sale Guarantee & Health declaration.

Step 3:

1.CCK will then provide customers with short videos and photos of the puppy’s development, this will be done collectively as a litter and not individually. This will be provided fortnightly up to 6 weeks.

2. Please note that NO visits are allowed during the mothers rearing stage cycle within the first 6 weeks as the mothers are very protective of their puppies and busy working at raising them.

3.At 6 weeks the vet will conduct their respective 'full health checks' along with administering the puppies necessary C3 vaccinations & microchipping.

Step 4:

1.CCK holds an Open Day at 8 weeks, which is held post the vets 6 week health examinations.

2.The timeslots allocated for the ‘Selection & Collection Open Day’ are done so in 1-hour intervals to allow each group sufficient time to make their selections and ask any questions they may have.

3.The order is determined chronologically based on the purchase order to allow the priority waiting list customers who have committed and paid their holding deposits to come out and then ‘select their puppy’ from the available litter.

4.Once the Open Days are set, CCK will issue a group email advising these days and include the timeslots allocated to each group.

5.At this stage you will also be required to complete the ‘New owner details form’, which is attaching to the 3-year Sale Guarantee & Health declaration, provided to you earlier.

6. CCK will have also concurrently administered the puppies necessary flea & worming treatments fortnightly accordingly.

Step 5:

1. Open Day Invitations are issued as soon as practically possible.

3.All CCK Open Days are held on weekends to allow working families an opportunity to attend.

4.CCK will determine the dates for when the Open Days are held and advise the individual groups accordingly with either 14 or 21 day’s notice to the best of our ability via text or email.

5.You will be supplied with all the necessary microchip transfer of ownership documentation along with any other ancillary supporting advise as requested on the day.
